REAL3™ 3D image sensor based on Infineon ToF (Time-of-Flight) technology - powering the smallest depth-sensing 3D camera modules in the market. Enabling secure, password-free, contactless mobile user experiences, our REAL3™ ToF 3D image sensors are ideal for fast, seamless, and spoof-proof facial identification in applications like phone/app unlocking, mobile payments, and much more. Applications like entrance control or presence detection for smart home and smart building benefit from Infineon's complete turn-key radar presence detection solution based on XENSIV™60 GHz radar with integrated PSoC™ 6 MCU and software libraries. The BLE functionality is monolithically integrated on MCU. And the radar sensor can be easily and remotely controlled via smartphone app. It's amazing what a big role touch sensors already play in our daily lives, for example in the use of smart watches, smart phones, wireless earbuds and more. Capacitive sensors use the electrical properties of the human body as input and detect differences in capacitance caused by a human finger when it is in close proximity to the sensor. Infineon's CAPSENSE™ capacitive touch sensing technology measures changes in the capacitance between a plate (the sensor) and its environment to detect the presence of a finger on or near a touch surface. Gaming, virtual e-Commerce, 3D online education: Augmented Reality (AR) applications with three-dimensional depth sensors link the real with the digital world and are strongly demanded. The REAL3™ ToF sensor enables seamless augmented reality sensing experiences with high quality 3D depth data capture up to a distance of ten meters, without losing resolution in the shorter range. Always-on applications such as mobile AR gaming can greatly benefit from the small power budget required by the new sensor, and provide users with longer playtime than ever. For applications such as the 3D scanning for room and object reconstruction or 3D mapping for furniture planning and other design applications the sensor allows to double the measuring range beyond the current solution in the market. Infineon’s SAS is a multi-layered security system that uses data from XENSIV™ microphones and barometric pressure sensors coupled together with acoustic event detection (AED) technology, sensor fusion algorithms running on the PSoCTM family of microprocessors to provide true protection and monitoring against burglary, intruder as well and other acoustic events.
